Cydia wont open #185

What device + iOS version are you on? IOS 13.2 IPhone 7

What checkra1n version are you using? 0.9.1 What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. I downloaded checkra1n again after cydia kept crashing
  2. So i install cydia again when checkra1n was redownloaded
  3. An when i click on it it just crashes ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? To open Cydia but crashes.

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...?

I’m having the same issue. iPhone 7+ 13.2.2

Yep same issue. Happened after i installed Colorflow 4 (not updated for ios 12, i was being stupid).

It caused my phone to go into safemode, after that I tried uninstalling everything that had been installed with colorflow. This included substrate and things since it didn't have them before installing the tweak. Since it worked without it before I assumed it would work afterwards without it. I wanted it back to a clean slate.

After that Cydia broke, can't open it, can't reinstall it, can't remove the jailbreak and re-exploit to get cydia again.

Restore system, rejailbreak, ssh into device, run

uicache -a

go to the loader once done and cydia is gone, and install cydia, comment back if still having issues and I'll help

Thanks but I just restored my iphone, then restored to a backup and that removed cydia, now i just have to jailbreak again

Cydia crashing and won't open..

ssh into your phone go to var/mobile/Library/Cydia and delete metadata.cb0 . Cydia will open. reinstall tweaks.
