Tell us about your setup: My setup is a Core i3 10100 with Gigabyte H410 MOBO and late 2015 21.5 1080p IMac

  1. What iDevice are you using? Ipad mini 4th gen (wifi) and Ipad 7th gen (wifi)
  2. On what version of iOS is it? IPad mini 4th gen is 14.6 and Ipad 7th gen is 14.4.2
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? V. 12.4
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Windows 10 and Mac Big Sur
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? I'm using the original Apple cable and connecting it directly to the PC/Mac

What are the steps to reproduce the issue? (For IPad 7th gen (WiFi)

  1. I enter recovery mode to run checkra1n on it first
  2. clicked options: safe mode, allow untested IOS version and Skip A11 BPR check
  3. clicked start and went through the DFU mode process
  4. Right when it showed the booting screen on Checkra1n, the Checkra1n logo would appear on the IPad 7th gen and go away and go back to the passcode lock screen. However, it would still say booting on the Checkra1n screen then stay on forever (freeze?) (Same on Mac)

What are the steps to reproduce the issue? (For IPad 4th gen (WiFi)

  5. Plugged it in and clicked options: Safemode, Skip A11 BPR check and allow untested versions
  6. Clicked start and went through DFU mode process.
  7. It did not show the checkra1n logo when It said booting on the checkra1n screen.
  8. Then it would show the USBMUX Error -79 and Error code -20 on Mac

...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I expected the checkra1n screen to say "All done" when the process was finished but it only froze on the booting screen and Error screen.

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error? Yes in the first attempts but it no longer popped up when I applied safe mode.

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? Yes it does on windows and on Mac

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? I jailbroke my iPhone X on 14.6 and it worked perfectly but don't understand why it doesn't work for my IPad Mini 4th gen that's 14.6 and my IPad 7th gen 14.4.2. I will provide photos.
