Activation locked #2189

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? 5s
  2. On what version of iOS is it? 12.5.5 just updated and it got activation lock.
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? 0.12.4
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Using windows bootable by pendrive
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? Original 5s Charger

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. I did everything hold the top and home button for 4 seconds then just home button for 10 seconds
  2. Exploit failed ( error code :-31) its stucked there.

  3. ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead?

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error?

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options?

The checkra1n team can't help you with an iCloud locked device. If you have proof of purchase you can take it to Apple to fix, or if you can remember the Apple ID and password. There's not much else you can do other than that.

Stop stealing phones. iCloud bypasses are illegal

iCloud bypass are not illegal but 95% of times the things related are illegal
