Iphone 5s wont work #2268

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? Iphone 5s
  2. On what version of iOS is it? 12.5.4
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? 0.12.4 t+ 0.12.3
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? VM Ubuntu 20.04.4
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? 3rd Party cable + USB A

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Turn on Allow untested IOS... + Safe boot (Tried on and off) + Skip A11 BPR check + Dark Blockchain
  2. Press start follow steps
  3. After This is the real bug setup the error code -31 shows up ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? i expect the trigger but it just crashes

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error? nope

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? yep

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...?

same ios 12.5.5

I used Checkra1n v0.10.2. Set ALL options in the Checkra1n settings, start the jailbreak process, as soon as you will see "right before trigger", count to 5, then very quickly remove the cable slightly (until -1 error) and plug it back in. "Booting" appears immediately and the process is 100% successful (tested on a many 5S phones with different IOS versions).

Mine seems to be showing the error code -31, I believe because I am not using the official cable (Lighting Charger.)

Doesn't support iOS 14.2 that version you just mentioned.
