Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using?

  2. Macbook Pro with T2 Chip || Model: A2289

  3. On what version of iOS is it?

  4. I don't know because i formatted the device

  5. What version of checkra1n are you using?

  6. 12.4

  7. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)?

  8. Ventura + Mojave

  9. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? USB-A+Type-C AND Type-C+Type-C

What are the steps to reproduce the issue? [02/26/23 06:53:44] : Waiting for DFU devices

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I expected my device to be jailbroken so i can start using SSH

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error? no

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? yes

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? I used Apple Configurator to restore my MacBook pro, so might it be that the new BridgeOS(2,21) doesn't work with checkrain?

I have the same issue. I notices this line in the release notes but I don't understand what it is supposed to mean. "bridgeOS:

If you disconnect the cable, then as soon as macOS boots it’ll take over the USB connection and disallow communication with the T2
