Checkra1n tweaks not load after "userspace reboot" with PowerSelector tweak. #2354

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using?

    • iPhone 8+

  2. On what version of iOS is it?

    • iOS 14.6

  3. What version of checkra1n are you using?

    • Checkra1n version 0.12.4 (latest)

  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)?

    • Windows 10 & Older MacOS

  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)?

    • USB to Lightning

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Ran "Userpace reboot with PowerSelector tweak".
  2. It rebooted into non-jailbroken state instead.
  3. After successfully re-jailbreak -> Jailbroken apps works, but no tweaks are able to run. ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead?

  • ldrestart didnt fixed Airdrop not working, so i tried with userspace reboot and isnt userspace reboot also supposed to keep jailbreak after reboot? However after userspace reboot, it fixed Airdrop issues, but it exchanged with no tweaks in jailbreak.

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error?

  • Not in safe-mode and there have no errors after Jailbreak.

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options?

  • If i tick safe-mode in the checkra1n option then after jailbreak it says with message that device is on safe-mode.

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...?

  • No error log or anything. Only issues are tweaks not running after "userspace reboot and re-jailbreak". I tried to re-install few essential tweaks: Cydia Substrate, Rocketbootstrap & PreferenceLoader.

Solved!

Only way i found was just "Restore System" via Checkra1n loader app.

Before doing the restore (rootf) i installed "Iamlazy" tweak and backup all the tweaks to cloud and then also backuped all Zebra/Cydia source to a cloud and then after that i did "Restore system" and then "Re-Jailbreak and Restore backup from Iamlazy". (Basically Checkra1n Restore system does not wipe all the sources from Cydia & Zebra, so i just need to restore the "backup.tar" via "Iamlazy" tweak and thats all!
