What device + iOS version are you on? iPhone X iOS 13.2.2

What checkra1n version are you using? 0.9.5

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. After being jailbroken for a while, I got my device frozen and then force-restarted it
  2. When trying to re-jailbreak always getting error -31

Note: Already tried both rebooting the Mac and using not using the usb-C cable, with no success

try reboot the Mac

Do not use an official Apple usb c cable and it will work. This has been said so many times at this point.

Same on 7+ 13.2.2, successful on iPhone x 13.2.2 but error -31 on 7+, not cable related problem

No luck on my end either, trying it with my old 5S on 12.3. Used official Apple Lightning cable, a MFi-certified from Amazon Basics, directly plugged into my Mac mini 2018 (latest stable Catalina. build) or via a hub. Always -31.

E: Actually never mind, it worked using CLI by putting the phone into DFU mode directly.

Same here! Error -31 every time. Tried several aftermarket cables. My Mac is a 2010 with usb 2.0 ports. Do I need to get a usb 3.0 hub?

Even by using the CLI, always getting -31

Update: after upgrading to iOS 13.2.3, and running checkr4in from CLI, jailbreak succeeded! The problem is that I got my device frozen afterwards... Rebooted, and now I am facing error -31 again
