Jailbreak "disappearing" after some time #618

Tell us about your setup:

  1. iPhone 6
  2. iOS 12.4.3
  3. Currently using 0.9.6 GUI
  4. MacBook Pro on macOS 10
  5. I always use an Apple-Branded cable (OEM)

Unfortunately there really are no steps to reproduce to make it happen.

I could be using my iPhone w/ jailbreak just fine for a while, then suddenly I will unlock it and I won't have access to any jailbreak related items, and will have to re-jailbreak.

Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode? Based off of the issue described, I don't think Safe Mode applies.

This happens to me sometimes, even happened to me on Unc0ver. Just reinstall Cydia Substrate and all your tweaks will re-enable.

That's the thing, I can't even open Cydia. It actually just happened now, and the checkra1n loader app just vanished.

Sounds like a reboot. But I'm not sure.

This happens to me on cydia，but never happens on sileo. so I am waiting for checkrain to support sileo

the package manager has literally nothing to do with jailbreak stability. Also checkra1n probably will never support sileo because coolstar is keeping sileo closed source.

What's odd is my iPad on iPadOS 13.3 doesn't do this, however my iPhone on iOS 12.4.3 does.
