I... what? Your panic log shows a whole two userland processes in existence, which should only ever be the case at very very early boot. I have no idea what would even kick a device into such a configuration once SpringBoard has been brought up...

LOL, it triggered the strikethrough thing. Also, the only reason I have CyDown is for getting the .deb files of free tweaks.
So is this a tweak problem or is it a checkra1n problem? It happened again last night as well.
I'm not exactly sure what triggered, but I observed this on my iPad Pro as well yesterday. I heavily suspect it's an issue with Substrate, but there's a good chance that we can debug it now, as long as we can reproduce it.
@Siguza I'm not sure if this is related but I found out that this problem happens if there are jailbreak bypass tweaks installed (Liberty lite, shadow, unsub etc.. ) do you by any chance have any of them installed on your iPad Pro ?
I have no tweaks besides FingerTouch on it.
It might have been fixed by the recent Substrate update, but it doesn't happen frequently enough for me to really tell.
I'm using checkra1n (0.9.7 because 0.9.8 doesn't work) since a month on my iPhone 5s now (iOS 12.4.3). It's now the third time the iphone did an unsuspected reboot. It happens very rarely and always if the iphone is locked and I'm not using it.
I can confirm this only happens when I’m not using it, aka, overnight

It only happens when my phone is charging, that's probably the same issue
I just restored my phone from a backup and the only thing I had installed was Sileo, Zebra, and Shuffle. I still got a kernel panic overnight, so I'm 100% sure it's not caused by a bad tweak.
Could you upload that panic log as well?
My phone keeps rebooting every 2 to 3 days even while i'm not charging, It usually freezes while i'm using it and it hard reset itself after sometime when it hangs. since checkrain has been released in November i never had an uptime of more than 3 days
My iPhone 6 also restarts nearly every night. I can't get an uptime over 1 day. It seems like my bedtime alarm forces my phone to restart in the night but then again having it off does not change anything really.
Edit: deleted other useless information.
I haven't had a panic for 3/4 days, has anything been changed with the bootstrap?
Same for me. No unsuspected shutdowns for over 2 weeks now.
Happened again now. iPhone 5s was connected with the usb cable to pc (for hours) and rebooted suddenly. With the latest checkra1n 0.9.8.2 beta the jailbreak failed again (terminal and gui). So I'm back again to 0.9.7.
Aaaaaaand again. But this time I was able to run the new checkra1n 0.10.1 beta version (GUI) and the jailbreak was successfull. Maybe it's fixed now. I will reply if there will be any new unsuspected reboot.
Thank you all for your hard work on this jailbreak. :)
Tell us about your setup:
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I expect the device to stay running overnight
Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode? Yes
