iphone 6s gets stuck on first step after going into DFU mode. #831

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? iphone 6s

  2. On what version of iOS is it? iOS 13.3

  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? GUI or CLI? CLI

  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Linux (Ubuntu, Kali, and manjaro)

  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? Offical apple usb cable that came with my phone

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Run any of the 3 OS's stated above
  2. Get checkra1n up and running using: sudo ./checkra1n
  3. Set up iphone into DFU mode and start the jailbreak
  4. Get stuck at the first part of the process ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? Checkra1n to run but got stuck right in the beginning

Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode? Have not tried that yet.

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? Not getting any errors, checkra1n just will not move past the first step

have you guys installed the package usbmuxd ?
