Downloaded on new HTC One (Tmobile) and cannot backup. "Unfortunately, SMS has stopped" #181

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on Backup Now button
2. First Backup > Backup
3. Message: Unfortunately, SMS Backup has stopped...Only choice is either 
Report or OK

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Above message is all that I see and can go no further

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Operator name: T-mobile
Mobile network type: GPRS
Phone: HTC Sensation 4G
Model Number: HTC Sensation 4G
Android: 4.0.3
HTC Sense Version: 3.6
Software number: 3.32.531.14.710RD

SMS Backup was working before I updated the operating system
