Hi,

It seems like this project has been very quiet and the pull requests doesn't seem to be accepted.

What's the future plans here?

jcklpe commented 6 years ago

This seems like a really cool project. I hope it continues! @iabem97

As far as I know this is the only video background application project. There is a somewhat broken mod for the default KDE background manager but nothing that runs on Gnome etc.

Hey @fosspill I don't know what the plans of @iabem97 is but I would like to see this project maintained and grow. I'm a designer learning how to do web development. I don't know vala. But I can improve the documentation and help build the project. If the fixes aren't pulled in soon then I'm just going to fork and start looking for contributors to help me. Would you perhaps be interested in helping?

Sadly I think this is a bit above my skill, but I'd gladly join in and see if there is anything I could do

Hi,

I apologize for not updating this project. I’ve been involved in other projects recently and it’s taking most of my time. I will work on updating Komorebi and look through the PRs and issues.

Thanks again for your interest in Komorebi!

Would it be possible for you to open up rights to more people? One strategy I've heard some people use is to give every person who makes a pull requests or asks for commit access to have access. I would like to if nothing else improve the documentation to help people who are running into the common issues mentioned.
