fix protocol #14

This PR change symbol to string for attr 'protocol'. This allow to configure protocol like 'icmpv4:8,Any' for Echo request (PING).

Sorry for the delay on this. Bumped the version to 3.0.0 due to the breaking change and published it to Supermarket. Thanks!
