Chef Automate provides a full suite of enterprise capabilities for maintaining continuous visibility into application, infrastructure, and security automation.
Lot of info is dumped in Attributes field as JSON.
Some of the fields are relevant to customer and need to be mapped into relevant CMDB fields.
Eg. Info about Network Devices, OS spec, Disk Details, Applications Installed.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Send client run details from automate
In Service Now Instance : Search chef > Click on Client run cookbooks > then see the Node column > click on any one of the nodes > Top you will see lot of info about the clients like OS, IP, CPU. Scroll below and see the table showing tabs like Network Adapters, Storage HBAs, Storage Devices, etc. > Click on any of these, most of them are having no data.
Expected behavior
These tables should have data provided in the Attributes json dump.
