@piyushawasthi it looks like there's a pattern for detecting 2016r2 in https://github.com/chef/knife-windows/pull/433. Could you cherry pick in the appropriate commit from there? looks like https://github.com/chef/knife-windows/pull/433/commits/7d8456d9ff24bf1c8a90bc95b35c3cc023944d87.
