It would be good to have a restricted vocabulary for these terms. And if there isn't one in there that matches what a user wants, then they have to create one in another table to prevent rubbish terms being added (and typos!)

Again, this is something that should happen on the database level.

There is the USAN_STEMS table, which should probably be the source of this vocab. Need to check with Anna/Patricia the current status of this table.

Similar to the icons etc, this is assigned in drugbase and is determined by USAN, not us, so probably shouldn't be curated. Otherwise, if we do want to use the curation interface to curate drug data, I think it probably needs to talk to drugbase as well as ChEMBL - otherwise things are going to end up getting overwritten...
