Pressing a button has no result on some channels #80

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the XOT-UZG script and go to, for example, the 'uitzending gemist
- populaire uitzendingen'.
2. Select one of the offered broadcasts (in my case I chose the one of the
Lamas)
3. Push the A button to play the stream or push the select button on the
XBOX remote.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the show that I selected. Instead nothing happens. I can
click the show multiple times, but every time without result.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using XOT-UZG 3.1.0 on a Bigfoot87 release of XMBC (XBMC pre-2.1)

Please provide any additional information below.

I've used UZG without problems for many times. Some weeks ago it stopped
working without any apparent reason. The only thing I could think of was
that I started to use the remote control (which I didn't use before). I've
tested the script with and without the remote, without success.

On my XBOX I still have a copy of an old version of UZG. The version is not
working either (but that may be due to different reasons).

I've deleted my logfile and started a new session of the script. I did the
steps mentioned above and nothing else. The logfile is attached to this report.

For me the following lines stand out:

20080922 03:16:07 - CRITICAL - progwindow.py    - 169 - OnAction::unknow
action (id=4). Do not know what to do

This is before I even click on anything. After I click on a show that I
want to watch I get this error in the log:

20080922 03:16:26 - CRITICAL - chn_class.py - 398 - On Click error
showing episodes
20080922 03:16:26 - CRITICAL - chn_class.py - 398 - | Traceback (most
recent call last):
20080922 03:16:26 - CRITICAL - chn_class.py - 398 - | File
"Q:\scripts\XOT-Uzg.v3\libs\chn_class.py", line 340, in onClick
20080922 03:16:26 - CRITICAL - chn_class.py - 398 - | item =
self.UpdateVideoItem(item)
20080922 03:16:26 - CRITICAL - chn_class.py - 398 - | File
"Q:\scripts\XOT-Uzg.v3\channels\nos\chn_nos.py", line 302, in UpdateVideoItem

Maybe important to know is that I also have the same problems with the
channel of Dumpert.

Hi, there are 2 things that you could try:

1. Update your channels. That can be done from the contextmenu of XOT. You can
download updated channels from there.
2. If that didn't work: try updating your XBMC to a more recent version (they
have a
XBMC Atlantis Beta at the moment) and download the XOT-Uzg.v3.2.0a3 from this
website. That the latest Alpha version of XOT and should solve problems.

Let me know the results.

Hi Bas,

First of all: thanks for the quick response! That is something you don't see
that
often anymore...

The first solution did the trick for me. Apparently the channels were outdated.
It
just took me some time to figure out how to get the contextmenu to pop up in
this
version using an Xbox. It appears that it pops up after pressing the 'info'
button on
the remote.

I've just downloaded the latest T3CH release of XBMC so I will update later
today,
even while uzg is working now.

Thanks again for your help. I can watch my favourite Dutch shows now again while
living in Costa Rica :).

With kind regards,

Don't forget to update to XOT-Uzg.v3.2.0a3 if you update your XBMC.
