Basic element/layer selection list #95

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Currently, there's no way (that I know of) to select an element that either
falls outside the canvas or is fully hidden behind a larger element.

I believe we should have a way to show a list of all used elements, similar
to the layer functionality mentioned in issue 73. That way any element can
be selected whether it can be clicked on or not.

While ideally the list would have a thumbnail image of the element, but
before that we could just have a regular drop-down list that lists all
elements by type.

What a weird coincidence! After seeing the Flex SVG Explorer [1] this morning,
I
created Issue 96, which has been in the back of my head forever. Then I
noticed you
had created Issue 95 which essentially provides the same thing. Since I
provided
some more detail there, I'm duping this one.

Un-duped and renamed this issue. Combined with issue 73, this feature should
allow
users to select/show/hide any element as well. A less advanced version of the
feature
mentioned in issue 96.
