It save images in png format but it can't open them #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have fun using the software
2. Save your work
3. Try to-reopen it

The thing is that it saves in a format that is not even supported to be 
opened.

The app *should* allow opening and saving of multiple image format.

Here's a sample saved file.

If anyone has experience with imaging librairies under Java, help would be 
appreciated.
