What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Update link in iTunes app.
2. New version downloaded.
3. Will not transfer to iPhone, incompatibility error.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
App should be updated, is not.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This has occured with the last two updates - 3.1-3.2
iPhone 3g/2.2
OS X - 10.4.11
