Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select movie, theater, time to purchase tickets
2. Safari mobile opens to fandango site

instead of option to purchase tickets i get "Internal error checking
availability." same result with EDGE/3G/WiFi.

version 1.2.1

AMC Loews 34th St - All Movies
AMC Loews 19th St - All Movies
AMC Loews Village 7 - All Movies

the only theatre i've gotten to work is Regal Union Square Stadium 14.

FYI- there could be more.... i just tried the 4 theaters that i would go to and
3 out
of 4 failed.

btw... this app is fantastic, it loads super fast and i love the idea of
fandango
integration.

Touche :)

However, i can order tickets from fandango for theaters at AMC Loews 34th St
without any problems.

Was it simply very late and no more tickets were available for the day? You
might need to set the date to
tomorrow to see ticketing options.

Cheers!

Nope... I've tried different dates/viewings. I just tried to buy tickets for
the
4:30 showing of pineapple express at the 34th st Loews on my computer (www
site) and
it says they are available. Tried it on BoxOffice and i get the same "Internal
error
checking availability" error message.

Navigating from fandango's mobile site also produces this error. I did the
following steps:
Went to mobile.fandango.com
found the listing for Pineapple express
Entered my postal code as 10009
Chose to purchase tickets from AMC 34th street
Picked a time.

I then got from (https://mobile.fandango.com/tickets.jsp?
mk=109500&tk=6011&showtime=2008:8:21:19:15):
Internal error checking availability

Seems to be a problem with fandango.

ahh! ok. i just assumed the www & mobile sites handled the back end
processing in
the same manner. thanks cyrus.

top notch work on this app, i really love it. one question though.... the app
is
called Now Playing (formerly BoxOffice)... but the App icon on my iPhone still
is
labeled BoxOffice. Is this intentional?

Nope. Seems to be a problem with Apple's Store/Upgrade Mechanism. I'm working
with tehm on this right now.

well at least you got your app back in the app store. i downloaded it when it
first
came out and was bummed to see it get pulled (thank goodness i got it before
they
pulled it). your app is by far the best in the category, it's the total
package.
