If I'm not wrong, you are using Kali, but what kernel version ?
Hey @obernardovieira, yeah sorry that should have been included ofc. I'm using the latest VirtualBox image version 2017.3, fully updated with guest additions. I've updated the post to include those details :)
Make sure you cp the build to the right path, i ran into the same issue:
cp RT2870STA.dat /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA.dat
That is not the kernel version. Kali 2017.3 uses Linux 4.13.10
hey can u plz hepl i can't connect my tp link with my virtual m/c kali. am using mac and virtual kali and tp link 722n wifi adapter. when i start my virtual m.c the adapter goes to offline why ? anyone plz help me
