Problem using web sockets in slides.html5rocks.com #634

Please describe the issue:
Web socket example at http://slides.html5rocks.com/#web-sockets
does not work.

Please provide any additional information below:
The Output log says:
"DISCONNECTED
NOTE: If the connection failed, check the Use secure WebSocket (TLS/SSL) 
checkbox and try again."

Connecting with "Use secure WebSocket (TLS/SSL)" does also not work.
