Safari don't work #707

Please describe the issue:

the slides doesn't work on safari.

Please provide any additional information below.

Seems like a lot of the examples don't work on safari, neither the latest Mac 
version, or the iOS one. So much for standards adoption!

E.g.

- PIP shows the video, but the mute button does nothing
- Slides load, but do nothing at all
- ditto for notification
- ASCII art shows nothing except a small "open" text top left

Not very impressive.

All HTML5 features don't work everywhere yet. Browers have different degrees of 
adoption
and iteration speed.
