autosub on synology stopped and wil not start again #197

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.fresh install (packet-center)
2.change Rootpath, save
3.'Run Now'

AutoSub stopped and will not start again.

System;
Synology 212+, DSM 4.2
autosub v0.5.7-2
python from synocommunity v2.7.5-6
I use http://synology.mdevries.org/spkrepo/packages in package Centre

I use autosub for more then 6 month now without any problem, till this morning.
Autosub had not started with the start of my synology and I tried to manually
start autosub. It didn't work! As I remember nothing had changed on my Syno.

I tried a fresh install and autosub started again untill I changed the
Rootpath. After 'Run Now' I could't make contact with autosub anymore. In
packet-centre the proces was still running, I stopped autosub and a tried to
restart. Autosub couldn't be started again. I tried a few times with restart
of syno and on different Rootpath's with the same result.

There's probably a 'weird' character in this share:
/volume1/homes/-SERIES/Hannibal/S01

Characters like é á ó. (Hannibal episodes: Apéritif, Entrée, Rôti,
Relevés)

Rename the character to the 'normal' one.

Thanks, problem solved. Rôti was the problem.
