Agree, this is missing. With it, it should be the ultimate launcher.

In case anyone didn't notice, I don't care if this is added ever. This is just
a holding place for the inevitable flood of "Add 3d drawerz!!!"

This will be one of the best feature!!! It's so cool...

Yeah the 3D drawer is pretty awesome compared to the old one and I much prefer
the old one/3D drawer to the Galaxy S (iPhone looking) drawer, reminds me too
much of when I had a 2G =P
So yeah 3D drawer is not NEEDED but it would be awesome if implimented

This should not be a "defect" or have "medium" priority... this is an
enhancement and low at best.
Flair is nice, but I'd go for a new feature any day.

I dont necessarily thing this is "critical". Would be nice\cool to have, but
"critical" to the function of the launcher

If you add this, please have the option to turn it off.
I guess chances are high you would anyway but I want to make sure.

Yeah this would be a GREAT added feature if we could choose between the 2d, 3d,
horizontal option for the apps in the dock.
That would make ADW the best feature rich launcher of all the launchers.
Original comment by werth...@gmail.com
on 28 Aug 2010 at 3:26
Yes I will offically replace launcher Pro if ADW had 3D the launcher and
vertical scrolling
Original comment by tmiller8...@gmail.com
on 28 Aug 2010 at 11:42
"and vertical scrolling"... are people really this stupid? I see this request
all the time... if you can't figure out how to change options just flush your
phone down the toilet now. Oh and couldn't care less about 3d drawer.
Original comment by lite...@gmail.com

At least they're not asking for a side-scrolling drawer like the iPhone. Then
I'd slap there for more than one reason.

Sweet Jebus pllllllleeeeeeease add the 3D drawer. I'm sick of using other
crappy launchers just because they have it!!1!

Original comment by hydabba...@gmail.com

Yes, this is needed..
It is the only thing which has forced me to keep LauncherPro as well..

If eye candy has forced you to use another launcher, I believe you should get
your priorities straight.
Original comment by JAguirre1231

Why? ADW > all, but it's not so far advanced that nothing pales in comparison.
It's such a basic feature, that most all other launchers have. Why not just
throw it in? Leave it off by default. Heck, I'd personally be glad to pay for
it.

A little update on this feature...
Since it is a DIY deal I have embarked on the challenge of doing it. Now I will
fail miserably but you wouldn't care you would just complain and complain so
with that being said I will not do it.
Original comment by klinster...@gmail.com

Aww, c'mon I'd applaud your efforts and if I could code anything outside of an
html page I'd be glad to help.

I lol when reading stuff like this:
"Why? ADW > all, but it's not so far advanced that nothing pales in

Ok, I stand very corrected. Thanks for the renderscript explanation, it makes
sense now why it's you don't have it. I thought it was something simple you
could just "turn on". My apologizes. Also, I apologize if my comments came
across bad. I absolutely love ADW and think its awesome you do it for free. I
alsoadmire anyone with the skills to do what you do.

I finally made the leap from LauncherPro to ADW, would love to see the 3d
drawer. This may not be a priority to some people, but obviously to others it
is as evident by the number of requests. I would be happy to donate for this
feature. It may seem silly to some, but it's just a cool feature I really would
enjoy and I am sure alot agree :)

i like the idea of this too, simply because it helps differentiate the phone
from other devices. it helps make feel more unique. although, i would prefer
alternative transitions to a 3d drawer. the fly-in effect is too iphone-like
for my tastes so i keep it off.

prevents user input and then brick my phone? that helps differentiate the phone

Not a big fan of 3D drawer but definitely looking forward to see a flat design
like that on iOS 7
