Flashing in TWRP instea of In app flashing due to crash? (Mi Mix 2) chiron #1412

Hi, sorry for bad formatting because im on mobile. Is it possible to flash the patched rom from twrp instead of in app flashing? (I want to flash miui along with lineage 15.1 on mi mix 2). If i try to do in app flashing then the app crashes.
