ERROR 1 IN TWRP. Boot device is chiron, this device is . #1418

@chenxiaolong Device is Mi mix 2 When I tried to dual boot a patched lineage OS on my Mi mix 2 on twrp, it came up with error 1, "Boot device is chiron, this device is ."

A blank after that.

I tried to flash other zips. They didn't work either

@phooooon , @chenxiaolong open the flash zip file,go to Meta-Inf->com->google->android->updater-script open the updater-script as text file in notepad or a word editor,delete any "assert lines" that you see,save the file as .txt,rename the file by removing the .txt extension,and replace the modified updater-script with the updater-script in the flashed zip file..... Then flash it,should work

Does this work with other ROMs? I also want to try miui

Ok for some reason lineage just started working again without using Ayan banes idea.

I am also trying to flash miui 10. I patched to data slot and it again came up with error 1

But this time it just says failed to flash zip file

@phooooon, Try what I said with miui 10...should flash correctly....

Yes it also works for other roms.
