Been trying to do the same as you but cant get it working, i was dotPeeking the code for designer and kinda concluded (reading the code) that it would not load the custom modules:

_moduleDllPatterns is never set in the code from the dlls i have with my power automate desktop, so maybe they changed it?

Realized that if that patterns was not set, it would have thrown an null exception. was not able to find what these patterns could be, but when i changed my assembly name to Kjeldager.Modules.* then they loaded. so pattern is defined.. Works fine.
