What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to playback mp4 or mkv containers
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
mythtv 0.23 on fedora core 12, using CoreAVC 2.0 professional

I am having some success playing h264 content through mythtv. Content created
by my HD-PVR in mpeg-ts container format play back with no issues, however I'm
unable to playback mp4 or mkv files. If I remux the content into mpeg-ts
format, playback works fine.
I'm having a little more success with mplayer using the same dshowserver.
mplayer is able to play back mkv and mpeg-ts files successfully, but also has
problems with mp4 files.
I'm willing to do some more legwork to try to root cause the issue, if someone
can point me in the right direction.
