coreavc 2.0 breaks dshowserver #96

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copy new CoreAVCDecoder.ax to /usr/lib/win32
2. registercodec new serial and user to HKLM\Software\CoreCodec\CoreAVC
Pro 2.x\Serial and HKLM\Software\CoreCodec\CoreAVC Pro 2.x\User
3. run mplayer with coreavc

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The file should play, but instead it I get "Called unk_GetModuleHandleW"
repeatedly from commandline.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Patched mplayer from rvm's ppa: 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090904-0karmic5
Patched dshowserver to work with latest mplayer, built in my coreavc-for-
ubuntu ppa.

If you use R84 with either WineLib or the cross-compiled exe, CoreAVC-2.0.0
seems to
work fine. I am no longer going to support or maintain the standalone code.
Wine is
now mandatory to use CoreAVC for linux.

Follow the instructions in the README

I've been using coreavc 2.0 for over a month now without issue using latest
code.
