To have a more powerful support of Computer-aided-design (CAD) files, we shall support the object-file-format .off.

Advantages:

unkile stereo-lithography-files, the off knows the neighbor-relations of the triangles in the mesh
wide spread. Its one of the native outputs of the OpenSCAD-project.

Due to the known neighbor-relations it might be possible to interpolate the surface-normal between neighboring triangles.
