[TalkBack] problem while reading very long text #163

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Loads an application containing a verty long text in a single object
2. places the Talkback focus on this object: reading starts.
3. Move your finger outside this object, place it on the home button for
example.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After step 3, speech should have been stopped and after speaking "home button",
but the very long text continues to read until reaching end of it.
The problem also occurs if, while reading the text, you press the power button.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android 4.2, talkback 3.2.1

Please provide any additional information below.

By "very long text", I assume something like a 200 words long, or even more.

What text to speech engine and device are you using? As accessibility focus
moves, TTS is stopped and the speech queue is flushed, so you shouldn't be
seeing this behavior.
