From alobbs on December 22, 2010 12:19:34 What would the rational of such change? It isn't neither an autodestruction button, nor a missile launcher.. It is simply a "Save" button! I don't think it'd even been a good thing from a usability point of view to make it red :-)

From ste...@konink.de on December 22, 2010 12:28:46 That some people don't even notice the save button now. The fact that it is 'disabled' or 'enabled' isn't even distinctive.

From skar...@gmail.com on December 22, 2010 12:34:11 I agree with you both.

The "Save" button is not easy to find, but I think that change the color to red is not the best solution.

From ste...@konink.de on December 22, 2010 12:36:12 Lets say, it is not about the red. It is the difference between 'disabled' and 'you can press it now'. This is a common issues for newbies, so we must fix it.

From rng.hart...@gmail.com on December 22, 2010 13:45:32 The key to making the save button easier to notice is (probably) motion. Now I and most people are likely not into fancy hardcore animation bling bling, but how about pulsating the button? Like, fading back and forth (constantly) between 75 and 100 percent visibility. Or blinking the button every once in a while. Or whatever settings catch user's attention without being annoying.
