Problem serving relatively big PDF files #113

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Try to open a PDF file from a web browser which allows embedded Adobe
Reader execution.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is the PDF file rendered within the web browser display
area. Instead, the web browser just shows whatever was shown previously in
that part of the screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mongoose 2.8, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
Mongoose worked fine for PDF files less than 500 KB, but it fails
sistematically with big files (>5MB). The used web browsers were Google
Chrome 3.0, IE 8 and Firefox 3.5 with the Adobe Acrobat plugin.

I too would like to see this issue addressed.

I am currently using Mongoose to host a website on our company's intranet, and
some
of the engineering documentation that the website contains are fairly large PDF
files.

Mongoose has otherwise worked great for me so far. This is the only issue I
currently have with it.

Great job! Thanks for making my life easier.

I believe this has been fixed by the latest release.
