Windows version will not serve large files (>2,5GB) #146

A number of us are using Mongoose 2.8 on Windows XP to serve mp4 files for
streaming to the Roku set top box. While I personally don't have any files
larger than 1GB I've seen multiple reports of Mongoose failing to serve
>2.5GB files so thought I'd report it since everyone else just went to
different server software.

i'm not sure if this is related, but mplayer on windows patches mingw to make
large files work.

I have seen this for version 3.0 on Windows XP 32 bit and CentOS 6.2 32bit.

It behaves correctly with version 3.1.
