Have you seen this happen? I haven't been able to reproduce the problem.
I think it happens when I put my computer to sleep in an unprotected network, and then wake it up an a familiar protected network. I'll try again soon to reproduce it.
If the computer is asleep for a short period of time, Sidestep will display the wrong connection icon (unsecured network connection), but the secure connection is still active.
I have yet to try putting the computer to sleep for an extended period of time. I'll try that later today to see what happens to Sidestep when the tunnel closes due to inactivity.
