Digital Security 101 for immigration lawyers and groups #4

Details

Immigration advocacy groups, like the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, and lawyers like those volunteering at O'Hare, might benefit from a digital security 101 training ala the one run at ChiHackNight. ICIRR in particular expressed interest and we're in the process of finding a time to work with them.

How to get involved

talk to non profit groups that you are connected with and see if they would like to have this workshop done for their employees (can be done at their offices in the general Chicago area)
volunteer to TA at the workshop; the plan is to have interactive workshops, so that we also install some of the tools that we talk about, and we would need one or two TAs to help with that
