This is a bit of a meta issue and came up from a discussion at ChiHackNight. One problem the group is facing (and the activist community is facing in general) is that a lot of people are available to help and want to help but aren't sure what to do. This group has a lot of context on needed projects, volunteer opportunities, organizations to get involved with etc., but it generally ends up ephemerally in Slack or in-person conversation. It would be great to have this centralized somewhere so that we can point new members (or really anyone) to some things they can jump right into. Some ideas that came up were creating a discussion board (Discourse) or using something like Trello.
