Immigration clinic at DePaul Law School is having a hard time matching volunteer attorneys with providers who need the help. They're looking for a tool that would help them more easily match volunteers with people who need lawyers. This would involve connecting the needs of clients with lawyers who have specific specialties, among other things.

There is a service that does this but it doesn’t exactly work with their workflow. It's called VolunteerMatch. There's another tool in use by the lawyers at O'Hare called SignupGenius.

Next steps would be to better understand the needs of the clinic and why existing tools don't work. If they can be adapted then maybe that's the quickest solution. If not, we can do further research about what's out there as there must be a few other projects doing this.
