Why more partitial proofs and plots but less balance? #14

How on earth is the balance of your mining pool calculated? Why is it that I have more proofs and plots, but the balance is lower when a proof was found , while my friend's plots are less and the balance is higher than mine? $) 1P74C~) 9)5_BLA{L8N{5$ FTU1WHQS)UM3GNAP M@R ~L

To me it looks like there is a bonus for time in the pool. I got more than double than what you got and only have around 400 plots but I'm in the pool for some time before the poolsize explosed.. Or maybe there is a bonus for plots that are plotted to their key. Some clarification would be cool.
