Figure out which of these to use for recognizing the white lines on the grass:

[ ] simple least squares method (line fit)
[ ] RANSAC, tracked in #53
[ ] Hough transform
[ ] some form of machine learning (intensity invariant or something) to identify the white lines.
[ ] Robust eigenvalue analysis #17 (perhaps considered machine learning)

no need for line fitting. This stage is effectively just a smarter filtering method. Refer to #55
