All the graphing is done client side in a web browser, and is easily accessible from a phone/tablet/laptop. Factor in temperature ranges (likely from 70-200ish) and time delta (2+ hours) for display on tiny screens, and the fact that there are probably only a handful of people with displays - I'm not sure it's worth it. I'll leave this open but I wouldn't hold my breath 😉
@ddrum2000 you can always fork the repo and try out different strategies. Take it as a learning opportunity too 😜.
Personally I have a 7" display that works great for displaying the current fermentation activity if my fermenters. In time I'll be working on collapsing those and the brewing data (likely programmatically changing browser tabs based on there being an active brew session or not).
@chiefwigms I figured if anything it would be low priority. Thanks for humoring me though
@tmack8001 Well depending on how long COVID continues goes for, I may have way too much time on my hands. I'll look for the updated tab like features
I'll preface this by saying that I know this is a feature request and you have don a ton for the community...
I wonder if you might consider adding the ability to print the data plots that the server generates to a display attached to the RPi. Adafruit makes some nice displays that work as either a console or via Python. Maybe the button presses could switch between active data plots? Thoughts?
I currently use it to display the console but I suspect the Python code wouldn't be hard for someone that knows what they are doing.
