xld just decodes it into a big file. it seems that xld cannot read the embedded 
cue sheet.

What is a nrg file? I don't think it is supported by XLD.

A .nrg file is a proprietary CD image file format used by Nero Burning ROM ( 
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NRG_(file_format) ), just like a .bin file with 
.cue

FYI, I recommend using the image format conversion tools like 
http://code.google.com/p/nrg4iso/ rather than waiting for support in XLD.
