Chrome often fails to apply freetype smoothing to some pages #70

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a bunch of tabs on chrome >22, concretely I have Version 26.0.1410.64 m
2. Right click macType icon, open the Details window 
3. some chrome processes say 'failed'. Pages are ugly as hell. Hard to map 
pages to processes though. Trying to start macType fails on those processes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All pages with freetype. I get only some

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win 8, win &, chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m

Please provide any additional information below.
