i feel a team is good which will give you better idea to develop the products. and market them. which will help to reduce the effort. (this is just my opinion)
Nothing is set in stone. There are examples of big products with very small teams. As a solo indie hacker, you can do a lot too. It boils down to two things: 1) Your willingness to learn things in alien domains like marketing 2) Time management. If you can do those 2 things, then it possible for single person to create, market and sell a product end-to-end.
Most of my products are developer tools/apps. And they solved a problem I personally had. So initially they were all built to fix my own problem, and not to launch big.
Have you ever built side projects with the mindset of launching them big? How do you end up marketing them with ~0 team members and marketing peeps. Do you feel a team is good to have in case you want to launch something big as an indie hacker?
