addEventListener error #535

addEventListener Error

For some reason sometimes and not others, addEventListener will cause this issue "TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'addEventListener') at userscript.js:15:9" but codepen can't find it, and in some of my projects on webmaker it doesn't happen either

nevermind i forgot that the element it is targeting is not a thing in this project
