I propose the following, so that scores above 0 indicate positive general well-being, and scores below 0 indicate negative general well-being.
For Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q10, Q14, Q15, Q16 Strongly Agree = -3 points, Somewhat Agree = -2 points, A little Agree = -1 points, Neither agree nor disagree = 0 points, A little disagree = +1 points, Somewhat disagree = +2 points, Strongly disagree = +3 points.
For Q1, Q2, Q3, Q8, Q9, Q11, Q12, Q13, Q17, and Q18: Strongly Agree = +3 points, Somewhat Agree = +2 points, A little Agree = +1 points, Neither agree nor disagree = 0 points, A little disagree = -1 points, Somewhat disagree = -2 points, Strongly disagree = -3 points.
So here the scale could range from -54 points to +54 points in total, and they don't give any advice on how to handle the received results. What I would suggest is, and let's discuss this: scores of +25 or higher = great general well-being scores between 0 and 24 = some room for improvement scores lower than 0 = seek support to identify ways to improve general well-being by for example talking to a therapist
