closes issue #39
In this pull request I have removed all links from images on the dinosaur images.
created a temporary modalAnchor variable to represent whichever modal container that we create on click
Keep in mind that none of the changes to main.js are meant to be coming from @mnichols08 I just added some temporary logic to allow me to work on my assignment before the previous necessary tasks were completed. Feel free to utilize, change, or remove this part.
Within our new module file of
components/details.view.js
we now leverage a helper function created withinutils/createEle.js
.This function take two arguments, a complete dinosaur, and the anchor in which it should append to...
First it destructors the dinosaur, setting its variables to different names.
Next it applies an id of itself to the anchor, so that we can listen for the close button press later
Then it creates a block of html, dynamically inputting properties from within the dinosaur object along the way.
After it uses the createElement function to create our modal and append it to the anchor.
Finally, it applies some classes, makes the button functionable, and prepends the anchor to the body.
In order for this to be a modal popup, we still need to add some CSS.
