Application not persistent in memory; killed by other apps when they are opened #149

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open SMS Backup apps
2. Close it using using the "back" button
3. Open several other applications

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: SMS Backup still in memory. Seen: killed by other applications
probably due to low memory. Confirmed by seeing it in EStrongs Task Manager.
This will not kill SMS Backup because SMS Backup has been set to be "ignored"
by the task manager.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.1.1. Operating system: 2.1. Eclair; Samdroid Mod 1.2. Samsung Spica.

Please provide any additional information below.
In order to make the apps persistent, I quit the screen using the "home" button
and not the "back" button.

The same issue arises with SMS Backup Plus.
